Life’s Lessons Well Learned

It’s amazing how things occur during our lifetime that happen later than they should.  One important thing is outgrowing those that you knew in the past and embracing those that you can trust in the future.  Never trust for the sake of trusting our just because you’ve known someone for a long time.  We all know one, two or maybe even three people that we should have broken bonds with a long time ago, but for the sake of habit we string them along and overlook the tendencies they’ve displayed for years. I’m referring to so called friends, not real friends. We all have them. We all know that person or those persons who have rubbed multiple people the wrong way and never see fault in themselves. Yet, they make up and tell so many excuses as to why they’ve displayed these actions. Let’s face it, an excuse is an excuse no matter how you see it. The one’s making excuses make them because they have to, not because they choose to do so. I am urging you to cut those ties before it’s too late and your in too deep.

Remember, those times you were told one thing, but you knew they meant something else, or when you were always able to be contacted when they needed you and they were not if you needed them. Yeah, reminisce because it’s happened. Remember how everything for them has been a competition when it referred to you because you always excelled beyond their capabilities. Yet, you never threw it in their face you just overlooked their shortcomings. It’s even greater reward knowing that anyone that knows both of you already knew it would happen eventually because they were bitten before you and said “I told you so!”

What I really like, no love the most is that when you part ways with someone and your done you truly never concern yourself with them any longer because they were never there to begin with. Yet, they cannot live their lives without you being their center of attention, so they try their hardest to see what your doing and what you are up to. Tell them to move on and get a life, leave you alone and forget that you ever existed.

Some people say to never say never, but I can honestly say that those I’ve left behind, I’ll never, ever cross paths with again. That’s because some things in life aren’t meant to be repaired.

Keep shooting, composing, laughing, playing and loving those that come your way.

To some, Good Luck; others, Good Fortune; and others, Good Riddance.

When you thought I’d fallen, I actually rose to the top!
