Many clients that I have spoken with will often know what they want from their photographer, but may not know if the photographer can provide what they want. Some may not be able to tell the difference in quality and overlook marketing gimmicks. This is where knowledge and comparisons help them to make wise decisions concerning how to spend their hard earned money. At PSP, we show our clients comparisons of other photographers web sites and posted work.  Proudly to say, we have never had a client dislike our work for the competition.  During the comparisons we assist them in identifying color accuracy, composition, focus, and variety. We show them how often the same poses are used and how post production was done very poorly if at all. Photoshop can fix some issues but the best fix is starting with a good image.  Some sites have even tried to deny us access, but we have PC’s and Mac’s with proxy servers and MAC IP addresses to get around those tiny obstacles. We believe customers should be allowed to compare during consultations because we have nothing to hide and nor should they. We hope that they use our work for comparison because then we’ll have the client contacting us for the comparisons and reviews of our work first hand.  We continue to offer fresh ideas and various locations to allow for client preference. Make sure your photographer can promise and do the same. We also love to see the same or similar poses done to perform side by side comparisons.  Make sure you’re getting the best for your money!
