A Crystal Lens becomes a Crystal Ball into the Future: The ______, The Bad and The Ugly

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”

  Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

“When making the steps to venture into the business world, be certain that those you surround yourself with and work with carry the same values, morals and principles with them as you do.”

Before the conception of Perfect Silhouette Photography (PSP), I was a part of a different photography entity that began as an honest, hard working and motivated venture, but many things come to an end and so did this. The hard working characteristic faded, honesty left and motivation turned to greed. Professionalism was set on the back burner for personal comforts.

A business should be grown from the sweat and tears of all stakeholders that know the importance of providing not great, but exceptional service. This is what PSP provides.  This aspect was pivotal in letting us know how a business should and should not conduct affairs.

Friendship and business mix very well when there is a real friendship. This will get you through the tough obstacles and allow insight for moving forward. Personally, there was no friendship within the earlier entity, thus its failure. That died years before and will never resurrect.  Amazingly, a business will prosper as baggage is jettisoned and focus is clear. Surrounding yourself with the right people is definitely the most important criteria for success.  February 15, 2009 was an eye opener to the vast expanses of rooted jealousy and hatred. Since then, we’ve never looked back and mark that time as a blessing. It is similar to New Year’s Eve; eager to leave behind things that do not belong in your future.

The conception of Perfect Silhouette Photography was Perfect. Talented photographers, true friendship and putting clients first, adds up to our success. Our clients aren’t considered friends because we treat them like family.

We don’t compete, we compliment; we don’t criticize, we correct; we don’t find fault, we find forgiveness. These values are what we are anchored on and will serve us well as we continue to grow.

If all of the things we’ve done and have happened could be reversed in time, we still would not want the outcome to be any other way.

With Love and Thanks,

Perfect Silhouette Photography (PSP)
